Cruddy sketches from Maine

As promised, upon returning from Maine I would post some of the sketches that I did while there. Unfortunately, the trip was so busy with appointments and research that the time to really sit down and do sketches was limited, but, I snuck in a few. The first one was when my wife and I were stuck in a terminal waiting for our flight to leave for Maine. I began drawing the guy that was sitting across from me, but my wife got mad and said, "Don't draw people, people will see you looking at them and think you are planning some type of crime." So, I drew something non-suspicious, the toe of my sandals....it was a pitiful sketch...so I was glad that the plane boarded before it became more painful.

Once I got on the plane, I couldn't sleep (flight was at 9 in the evening), so I pulled out the handy dandy sketch book and doodled. This is what I came up with. Finally, once I got to Maine, when time allowed, I drew the TOKEN LIGHTHOUSE picture that every artist draws when going to Portland.
