Examining fear...

I've been having a hard time sleeping lately. It seems that the troubles that weigh on me during the day seep into my sleep and transform themselves into monsters. Last night I awoke screaming a bit. My wife had to calm me down, it was embarrasing and frightening all wrapped up in one.
While at lunch today, I thought I would explore some of the images in the sketchpad...once again, the pen becomes the therapist.

  2. Holy Moly...glad you are able to get this monster out on paper. He's very scary and I would scream too if I met him in the "never-ever" land.

  3. Your work is always such an inspiration, so if I may ask a technical question (and feel free to tell me it's a secret because you know I am just going to steal it and use it in a drawing of my own someday if you tell me) but what colors are those? The skin and the hair I mean. They're so sickly good - I love them....
