Portrait Exchange

I talked with Kerstin Klein in Germany the other day to collaborate on a project with her. She sent me a picture, which I used to do this portrait, and she is working on one from a picture that I sent her. This is a fun project that is happening between artists throughout the world and are being posted on blogs here and there.

It is really awesome. I´m really happy with it and I´m glad that the first portrait I received from the Portrait Party is done so well. Thanks! I hope you will like yours too.

Nice portrait sketch! :)

Beautiful sketch - I would be thrilled if that were me. Is that (Copic?) marker or digital? Love the look of the medium. If you and I exchanged portraits I would make it so we exchanged at exactly the same moment because if I saw yours first I would be frozen with doubt about my abilities and unable to finish.

Sounds like a fun project, I like your portrait of her, and the sushi looks yum.

@juj: I know exactly what you mean. I´m a beginner and the portrait I did of Justin is only my fifth portrait ever. So there is no chance that it would be as good as his. But I warned him before we agreed on the exchange. ;)
And I still had a lot of fun. I´m learning and I´m happy that there are people who exchange portraits with me - even though I´m not experienced.

I hope you don't mind, but because I am a huge admirer of your amazing work I've chosen to tag you. Read the details here. If you've already been tagged or you just flat out don't want to play let me know. Thanks in advance. juj
